Foam Fire Extinguisher / 2L / Purefire

1. Operating Method (Stored Pressure)
Mechanism: The extinguishing agent (foam) is mixed with a propellant gas (usually nitrogen) stored under constant pressure inside the cylinder.
Feature: Ready for immediate use by pulling the safety pin and pressing the handle, with a pressure gauge to monitor extinguisher status.

2. Suitable Fire Classes
This extinguisher uses AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) and is designed for:
Class A: Solid materials (wood, paper, fabric).
Class B: Flammable liquids (petrol, oils, paints).

Important Note: Not suitable for electrical fires because foam is conductive. It is also not suitable for deep cooking oil fires (Class F) unless specifically rated for them.

3. Components & Design
Body Material: High-quality rust-resistant steel with internal epoxy coating to prevent corrosion caused by foam.
Discharge Nozzle: Specially designed openings mix liquid with air to produce dense foam that blankets the fire.
Color: Red cylinder with a black operating head.

4. Technical Performance
Discharge Time: Approximately 10–15 seconds (continuous discharge).
Discharge Range: 1 to 2.5 meters, allowing safe operating distance.
Operating Pressure: Approximately 12–15 bar at room temperature.

Cooling Efficiency: Foam not only suppresses flames but also cools surfaces and prevents re-ignition by blocking flammable vapors.
Cleaner Use: Easier to clean after use compared to powder extinguishers, which leave fine dust residue.

Safety Notice: Always ensure the pressure gauge needle is within the green zone. If it moves into the red zone, the extinguisher requires immediate refilling or maintenance.
